Run the Trust ScoreCheck the licence on Parivahan
Go to parivahan.gov.in → Online Services → Driving Licence. Enter the DL number and date of birth to confirm it is valid, unexpired, and matches the vehicle class.
Sight a government photo ID
Aadhaar, Voter ID or passport. Match the face, note the permanent address, and keep a copy. This anchors the driver to a traceable identity.
Get Police Verification
Request a Police Clearance Certificate through your state police portal. It is cheap, mostly online, and the strongest single safety signal you can get.
Call a past employer
One reference call reveals punctuality, temperament and honesty no document can. Always do it before regular, family or overnight use.
